PTT ID (Push-To-Talk)

A PTT ID is transmitted when the PTT button is pressed for an MDC and DTMF Signaling System-enabled Conventional communications channel. The Radio ID of the source radio is transmitted with the PTT ID allowing for receiving radio identification and Caller ID on the display of the receiving radio.
